Due to poverty and its remote location, animals in the Leech Lake Reservation in Northern Minnesota, including dogs and cats, have been neglected for years. Stray dogs are seen roaming the town and even blocking traffic on the main highway.
A recent Senate bill was introduced in Kentucky on January 24, 2022, that would allow dogs to be permitted entry inside restaurants in the state. As of the moment, only in designated outdoor spaces can dogs be allowed to accompany their owners.
After causing a stir as they moved into the White House, President Joe Biden’s two dogs, Champ and Major, are expected to set tongues wagging again when they make an appearance at the 17th annual Puppy Bowl this Sunday, February 7th, 2021.
